I thoroughly enjoyed the podcast! Bringing mindfulness to the schools is a great idea. Personally, I know that my family is against practices such as mindfulness because they associate it with religious practice and in their ignorance, are afraid of “clearing” the mind of thought. However, they don’t realize that it can be approached in a secular manner and that it’s not a “clearing” or “wiping” of the mind, but an “awakening” of the mind. It’s all about perspective and our willingness to explore and grow. Excited to hear what other material comes out!!

Thank you, Carlos. Just like we take care of our bodies through diet and exercise, we can take care of our minds through open awareness.
